The Ouber PACIMD is an industrial evaporative air cooler which utilises the natural process of using evaporation to cool the air. The PACIMD uses a low wattage water pump to circulate water from the water tank on to four cooling pads, which in turn becomes very wet. The 1.1KW fan draws air from outside the unit through the damped pads. As it passes through the pads the air is cooled by evaporation. The PACIMD is ideal for open areas and is capable of cooling areas of up to 150m² but is also suitable for spot cooling.

Matt Jensen – The Comfort Group –
I first saw the Ouber PACIMD units in use at a kids birthday party I took my daughter to, it was one of those indoor inflatable jumping castle worlds situated in a large industrial building. I was blown away by how much they cooled the building, so much so that the brand name stuck in my head and I put forward a proposal to purchase 5 units for our own manufacturing facility. They have made a notable difference and improved staff comfort and productivity for a fraction of the price of air conditioning. Anyone looking at a cost effective cooling solution should consider buying some of these.
