| In the early summer months of late 2009, a unique enquiry arrived at
Fanmaster HQ with the core requirement of a heater needed to run in the
Southern Oceans on board the Sea Shepherd to protect the Helicopter on
board during maintenance, refueling and pre and post flight checks. In
these harsh environments Fanmaster was put to the challenge to provide a
product which performed time and time again.
Below is the letter Anthony Wylie, Sales and Customer Service Technician (National) received from the Aircraft Maintenance Manager from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Hi Anthony, I have just been ferried back to shore as the Steve Irwin put to sea, and am happy to be able to give you some feedback which is all positive. The IFH-15 heater has been a treat, holding the hanger temperature up in the double figures irrespective of the outside temperature. We had to change out the plug due to incompatibility, I cannot remember the specifics but I am completely satisfied with the product. |
